Biography
Making an entry into movies with Anjali, Tarun returned to movies with Nuvve Kavalli.

Basics on Tarun
Tarun was born on 8th January 1983 in Andhra Pradesh, India to the Telugu actress Roja Ramani. He has a degree in BBM from the Bangalore University.

He became famous overnight with the success of Mani Rathnam’s Anjali (1990) as Anjali’s older brother. He received the National Film Award for Best Child Artist along with Shyamili and Shruthi.

Tarun’s Movies
2000 to 2002 Tarun made his debut in a lead role with the love story Nuvve Kavali (2000). His other releases in 2000 were Uncle and Priyamaina Neeku. In 2001, he was cast in Nuvvu Leka Nenu Lenu and Chirujalla.

Senthil’s Punnagai Desam (2002) did moderate business. This was followed by Nuvve Nuvve (2002) with Shriya Saran.

2003 to 2005 Tarun and Shirya Saran were paired together again in Ela Cheppanu (2003). In the Tamil movie Enakku 20 Unakku 18, he worked with Trisha and Shriya. The soundtrack of the movie was quite popular. Sakhiya (2004) and Soggadu (2005) were his other releases.

2007 to 2009 Nava Vasantham (2007) was a reworked version of the Tamil hit Punnagi Desam (2002) which also starred Tarun. Bhale Dhongalu (2008) was the remake of the Hindi hit Bunty Aur Babli and didn’t enjoy the same success.

Tarun’s next movie is Krishna Vamsi’s Sasirekha Parinayam with Genelia D’Souza.
